Convite ao Vento (Invitation to the Wind) was built on a percussive base arranged and performed by Álvaro Faria, who created a solid and consistent beat full of subtleties, including the spatial distribution of the instruments. To this backing, I used the textures of a Hammond organ, which integrates to the rhythm, and also an acoustic piano, which walks freely weaving comments into the music. The melody is played with a turbo acoustic guitar sound that transforms this heavy and straight dance (although it sounds light and flowing) into an invitation for the wind to join and change the music smoothly...
